The new year is upon us, I am taking vacation until January 2 then I will be back with more scrapbook pages. I wish you all a safe, happy and prosperous new year!
The lemons are ripe on our tree, I went out to take some pictures of them to post online only to be chased around by my dog, Bear. He has his squeaky hot dog all ready for me to play with!
I received this Christmas card in the mail on Saturday! It is of my (ex) father in law and his partner and their dog. It made me smile, they look like they are having a great time. What a great creative Christmas card! Feliz Navidad to all!
After looking through my "Grandson" scrap book, I realized that the "Baby" black and white page was just a little too plain. I changed the background only and really like the results.
Here is the latest addition to my Grandson's Scrap Book. The original photo I was given was black and white so I made the other photo black and white to match. I went for simplicity on this page.
I adore old black and white photos. To me, they seem to reveal something deeper. Here is one of my Grandpa from the early '60's. I love this picture. I am going to make a scrapbook after all the holidays are over with all the old black and white photos I have.
Once again, I didn't get to make a scrapbook page, seems like the holidays are keeping me busy with other things. I found this old picture that my Dad took probably in 1958 or so of North Pole, Alaska. The quality isn't very good, but it does fit the Holiday Spirit. Happy Holidays!
I was busy putting up the tree and all the trimmings yesterday so I don't have new scrap book pages to post, instead, here are pictures of my tree, it is a beautiful silver tree that I fell in love with last year and had to have. I still love it this year! One picture is of it not lit up and the picture is when it is lit up. I'll be back with a scrap book page tomorrow!
I was trying to think of something creative and "on the cheap" to mail to my sisters for Christmas this year and came up with this scrap book. I hope they like it, we grew up in the 60's and 70's and we had some wild clothing styles! I will probably be adding more pages to this scrapbook over the next few days. This book was so much fun to make!
I worked on my Christmas card photo this weekend and finally came up with the one I am going to send out. The first one is pretty, but I like the simplicity and serene feel of the "Blue Snowflake" the best.
I found these old pictures of me and made a retro style scrap book from them. I will be adding more pages, I have a lot of old pictures. Check out my 1971 Ford Maverik and my Gunne Sax dress!
Welcome to my ever evolving little blog. I am a Christian, a daughter, a sister, a mother of three grown children, a grandmother to three little boys, an online store owner, a longtime Cubs fan. I love anything from the 70's and don't forget the coffee!! Arizona has been my home since 1971, I love it here and I love to share it's beauty.
I have boxes of pictures from my early childhood until now, my goal is to turn them all into great scrapbook creations. I am trying to do one theme a day until I get them all in scrapbooks. I may be here for a while! I hope you enjoy them!
